Gloaming: the light between day and night.
It is the Scots word for twilight, the hour when you find out if it is going to be a good night.
Made for the whole night
Night sky photography asks a lot of separate tools: a forecast, a chart, a map, a camera, a course, a place to make the post. Gloaming puts them in one place.
Honest numbers
Forecasts and sky values are estimates, and the app says so. It tells you what it is unsure of.
Simple on purpose
One idea on each screen, with the detail there when you ask for it. Everything has to work with cold hands in the dark.
You stay in control
Auto is there for when you are unsure. Every choice it makes can be changed.
Quiet about you
Lessons, Tonight and Sky work without an account. The apps carry no ads and no analytics, and this site sets no cookies.
The data behind it
Gloaming stands on open data, and we credit it.
